The Trading Online Voucher Scheme is designed to assist small businesses to trade more online, boost sales and reach new markets. Participating in this scheme can make the process of trading online much easier for you.
The Technical Assistance and Training (TAT) fund is designed to help people who are in receipt of the Short-Term Back to Work Enterprise Allowance.
It helps with certain costs involved in starting a business. You do not have automatic entitlement to TAT – the assistance awarded from this fund must be approved by the jobs facilitator in your local social welfare office.
Payments from the fund must be made directly to the provider of the service (or in other words the company that you decide to help you with your website needs). Your local jobs facilitator or enterprise officer can give you more information on sources of help and funding. Having been through the process ourselves we can assure you that it is easy to do and it merely takes:
1. A conversation with ourselves about your needs
2. A quotation based on that conversation
3. Handing the quote and a funding request form to your facilitator (You’ll have gotten one once your business is approved for BTWEA)
The TAT grant will pay for up to €500 of the costs with a 20% minimum contribution from the apllicant. If you need any more information, visit Citizens Information website.
